  1. Watch the following video:

1.) Describe the term ‘interactive TV’.

Interactive TV is a TV broadcast that allows a user to do something other than watch the program, from getting more information, submitting an email, or making a purchase. They can watch what they want when they want and also download the show. 2.) Explain the reasons why interactive TV is now called TV 2.0.

It is called interactive 2.0 because they have brought T.V to a new level, level 2.0. Its the same as having foxtel digital and foxtel IQ. Interactive 2.0 ables you to download the movie/show from the past or from the future. It is a new form of  interacting with the T.V shows/movies.

3.) Outline the positives and negatives of implementing interactive TV.

The positives that come out of interactive T.V is:

  • Saves you your time of buying a video from a video store.
  • Saves you money
  • Saves you petrol
  • You can watch what you want when you want and how you want
  • You can watch new movies/shows
  • You can watch old shows that you used to like
  • You can download the show/movie

The negatives that come out of interactive T.V are:

  • People will spend more time on the television and not doing regular activity
  • People will get obesity by the day
  • Downloading a program will waste heaps of your Internet downloads.
  • Buying a new box for the T.V costs money, maybe some people wont like to waste their money on that.

4.) Apple released recently Apple TV – Take 2. Describe the reasons why it needed to be changed. Apples released earlier only had a few features, which didn’t really take interest to anyone. So the reasons why it needed to be changed was because, nobody was interested and nobody bought the apple T.V.  So when apple take 2 releases, there will be new features which makes sure that the people are more interested and then everybody will be buying a Apple T.V take 2.

Watch the following clip on Maximillian Kolbe:

Upload the answers to the following questions in your blog.

1.) Define the term ‘moral integrity’

Moral integrity is the quality or state of being complete or undivided, it is your choice to take a in being a moral human being. It is your choice if you want to take action or not.

2.) Describe why Maximillian Kolbe is regarded as a Christian of exemplary moral integrity.

Kolbe is regarded as a Christian of exemplary moral integrity because his behavior towards others was very mature. Kolbe gave up his life for an innocent man, this shows that he is a christian exemplary of moral integrity. Also another point to back up my answer is that he became a Catholic Father. To be a father you must be very religious and mature.

3.) Outline Maximillians ethical actions/principles that he demonstrated in Auschwitz.

When Kolbe new that the 10 men were innocent, he begged the others to kill himself not the Innocent man. He did this because he new that the man had a family and had a life to live,  Kholbe demonstrates what is the bravest outcome and maturest outcome.4.) Evaluate whether you think he made the right decision and provide research to support your answer. i.e. Catholic teachings.

I believe that he made the right decision because as Jesus did the same and sacrificed himself so that we can live, and then Maxillian Kolbe does the same, and you compare them both, you are saying that Jesus did the wrong thing. That was proof whether Kolbe did the right thing or not.

1. Watch the following video:1.) Explain the purpose of using ‘youtube’ as a source of digital media advertising?

To put an advertisement on a computer, is a very smart idea. People can hop onto the internet and check out advertisements that they want to hear. If the person is interested in a product and only saw half of the commercial, they can check it out on computer.

2.) Discuss how collaborative media sites such as youtube, myspace and bebo have changed the current boundaries of media such as news, advertising ect.

Websites like myspace and bebo haave changed the world, and each country is having second thoughts about the internet, how it is very unsafe. 10 years ago, the internet was very safe, until the unsafe sites came in and people stopped trusting the internet an therefore people arnt able to access safe websites because the internet isnt safe anymore.

3.) Provide a link to an advertising commercial on youtube.
